AZANA SPA: Massage time!

I remember the first time I went to Azana spa, is located at KK Times Square Kota Kinabalu last month. One of my friend spent me to there since both of us really need massage because we believe massages help heal the physical aches of working out and is one of the oldest, simplest forms of therapy. The basic goal of massage therapy is to help the body heal itself and to increase health and well-being.So why don't we go sometimes to relax our body? I gave him this idea and he really excited to have this experience together. 

So I signed in to Groupon Malaysia to have the lowest price for two persons since they made a promotion at the moment, I think until today they still in promotion mode. I bought the groupon via online and pay it with Maybank2U which is costs RM88 for two persons. Below here is a brief description about the package we took that day.

• Package for 1 person for RM48 instead of RM154.80
• Package for 2 people for RM88 instead of RM309.50 (only RM44 per person)

Package includes:

• 1-hour traditional full body massage (RM88 value)
  - Muscles are pressed and squeezed to promote relaxation
  
  

  - Massage oil is then applied to pressure points 

  
  

  - Massage begins from back, then legs before moving to the front of the body before finishing with a gentle massage on the head
• 45-minute foot therapy (RM58 value)
  - Feet are first soaked in water with herbs then towel-dried
  - Massage oil is applied and massaged from soles to toe
• 6% Government tax (RM8.80 value) 

Room for foot therapy

As we walked in to the spa, I can feel the feeling of nervousness and exciting in us. The only thing came up in my mind was how does it feels to be touched whole body by someone we never meet and talk with. haha :-D I looked at my friend's face, and he just smiled all of the time with his funny actions. 

Foot Theraphy

First thing we went through is doing the foot therapy. It was a warm water mixed with some herbal which give a bit green dark colour than usual and took almost 30 minutes. I was quiet surprised when looking at one of their customer doing the same therapy, that staff did some movement massage with hands on the woman's back, which later I called it "Taekwando" style. But luckily the same staff did not do the same on me ;-D Thanks God. I might use my Silat to defense myself :-p While doing the foot massage, we have been served with funny actions on the television in front of us. Together with the staffs we shared the laughter and they were really good worker.

 After that, we were asking to go to a room with two beds. But of course there is a curtain that being our separation between woman and man. The girl staff asked me to remove something on my body but she didn't say it, so I removed my t-shirt and started to wear the given cover and laid down on the bed. When she came in again, she laughed at me. I asked why? Guess what she asked me to remove all. :-X Oh gosh, please. I was like "you must be kidding me". What is left was, my old purple underware hahaha. I heard my friend's voice beside me so annoying as usual.



The massge started by putting the oil all over my body from the back until my foot. I laughed all the time because it's so ticklish. I remember she said " Geli ka? Terpaksa kita kasi cepat kalau mcm ini. Saya pun mau terketawa sudah tingu ko ketawa" :-D Just Imagine, that 1 hour massaging the laughing sound heard from my place.

Overall, we were satisy with their service even though they seem like new staff that need to improve more on massaging : that's what my friend comment. But for me, this first time experience really funny and enjoyable. My dry hair becomes so oily after going out from that spa :-D Before going back home, we were served with a cup of tea. Nice taste :-)
