Temuduga Guru Interim: Behind the scene

Hi brothers and sisters... It's been a while since my last post.

I just had my Guru Interim interview yesterday. What a relieved. I thought it was tough like other interviews I had before. Thanks God I managed to arrive on time and get all the required documents ready.

Ok i'm going to share my experience during the interview session. But first of all, I would like to bring us to the meaning of the guru interim itself as it's very important to know the differences between guru ganti, guru sandaran terlatih, guru sandaran tidak terlatih and guru interim.

*Email received from JPNS
It started when I read my group Whatsapp talking about being called from JPNS for email confirmation to send the invitation of the guru Interim interview which is being held on the 19th, 20th and 21st July 2016. It was on Sunday about few days later I got the email from JPNS and I have no preparation at all! Below is the invitation letter through email that I have received. 

The next morning Monday, I texted my employer to apply for a half day leave so that I can certify all documents required. There are a checklist of documents to prepare as pdf attached. Must bring the original and a certified copy of all documents. I went to my ex college Unitar to certify my academic certificates, went to UTC registration to certify my birth certificate and IC copy. After that I went to Karamunsing KK to make a name tag and please, get a name tag ... you are advised to do so! While waiting for the name tag to be done, I look for a suitable shoe usually for women you are advised to wear covered n black shoes.  .

Now part 2 behind the scene. 19th July 2016. It was 5.00 o'clock in the morning and I have to wake up early to reach to Kudat exactly 8.00 am. Leaving KK around 5.23 am and arrived safely at Pusat Kegiatan Guru, Kudat at 8.03 am. Guess it took me 2 hours and 40 minutes with average speed of 90 - 100km/h. Thanks God, journey went well. Don't do this at home lol.

Right after I arrived the place, I look for my cousin, Sue. She also has been called for interview. My feeling of nervousness has gone a bit when I saw people I familiar with, yes some of them are from the same college. I became a bit active walking around there and here to seek some information as we were placed in PPD hall. The interview centre which is 50 metres away is too crowded of people. 

Around 9am something we were given a short briefing on what to do next. The briefer told us that the interview session is about to start. We will be in a group of six people, the group can be formed or can follow the running number as in the list name given. I prefer to follow the running number as my name start with A. Not long after that I was called for interview with 5 other candidates and I feel relieved when one of them was my senior, her name is Ailey! She was my senior while in college and my housemate too!

Guess we are the 1st group to go in the interview room! Before we enter the room, the copy of documents and file of original documents are collected by one of the officer in charge. After that, the BATTLE starts!
