2014 Wish came true: Viva Ivory white
Viva Ivory white
Like everyone else in this world, dreaming to afford a car is one of the wish that has been listed down every year. I do have this dream long time ago. I dreamed a mini cooper but it’s too expensive for me to buy now. So I start a simple step and trying to get a new and affordable car. Then Viva Ivory White came out in the middle of January 2014. This is my first dream I’ve achieved in 2014!
Though it’s a simple car and many say easy to loan, but for me it is not as easy as you think since I'm working with a private company. I’ve failed to apply loan with a bank, none of them. Pretty sure Toyota Capital is not a chosen banker; cause of its high interest and that’s killing me! I can’t do anything but to thank God.
With deposit around RM3973.40 and monthly payment around RM387 I managed to have my first car. I’m so happy but new challenge occurs. I can’t drive on the road! Driving a manual car is not easy. I’m so scared at the first, people honk me many times, cause I take time to move, the engine dies at sudden, I can’t do U-turn, I don’t take over, I drive too slow. I feel like driving in gear3 is fast enough but hell no. The big problem of me is I don’t know where to go; I still confuse which paths should I follow.
I asked people the tips how to drive a manual car, but they gave the same response. I thought they are just saying it but now I admit they were right. You need to be brave and confidence. When you want to change your way make sure the three rules, looking at your right & left side mirrors and front mirror. I thank you to one of my close friend who taught me about driving stuffs. After 2 months driving, I’m able to drive home safely, I can drive to church every weekend, I can go to work every day.
I believe that everything’s happened for a reason. The owner of my rent house which is very near to my workplace kicked us out from the house without any info. Luckily that time, I just owned that car a week before, so my friend and I moved to Menggatal which is dozen times far than before, sigh.
Anyway, my first dream has been granted. Thanks to God, without Him I’m nothing. Thanks to my sister too for being my guarantor and my friends for supporting me until now. Let us chase our dreams!
